Just wondering if Microsoft plans on coming out with a XP version of SQL Server along with all their other products. Has anyone heard? We were thinking of putting money in our budget next year to upgrade from SQL 7.0 to SQL 2000 but wanted to make sure a new version wasn't suspose to come out soon like an XP version or something?

Next version of SQL

Microsoft is planning to change its SQL main engine in 2003. He is proposing it as Yukun. In this the inner DB engine will be changed and this was not going to be a simple upgrade like previos versions.
