Mober,
That kind of depends on you - are you working already? Are you looking for a job?
I have never bothered to get A+ because of the cost at about $300 and it basicly tells someone that you have 6-9 months experience repairing PCs, I have 12 years on the job
If you are trying to get into a place, it might be helpful to be A+ or it might be requirred for a tech job! I know some places will not hire entry level without A+.
As for MPC for XP, do you currently support XP or are you trying to get a job that supports XP? Do you intend to go further for the MCSA or MCSE?
As for study material I always have liked the CompTIA books by Mike Meyers and the CBT Nuggets -
As far as MCP you might want to ask about study material in the Microsoft Certification forum here at Tek-Tips!
You said that you just passed your Network +, if you have any intention to go further in networking I would suggest you get your CCNA!
Again, it depends on the job you are trying to get, what are they looking for or what in general are the jobs for that type position in your area asking for as far as experience and certs?
Just some thoughts!
