Hi Guys,
I'm hoping that someone here has tried their hand at newsgroups/newsreaders and can help me with this.
I am trying to develop a very basic newsreader for personal use (I'm not trying to re-invent the wheel so bear with me).
My code so far works fine and I can download headers etc. but I want to be able to group multi-part posts (figure out which articles are part of which posts), but am having trouble getting my head around working with the data.
Does anyone know an easy way of doing this, or know where I can find some info on this. From what I can see, this can only be done by using the subject which contains info on the part [01/20] and Segment (001/200).
If anyone is willing to have a go I can post some sample data, but hopefully someone out there knows what I'm talking about
