I have just setup the nntp part of exchange 2000, allowing - in theory people in the organisation to view some newsgroups.

However, I mistakenly left the "*" in when selecting which newsgroups to add to the feed.

I have now downloaded *ALL* newsgroups - or at least the group names.

How can I remove these and start again? I can delete one newsgroup at a time, but with 50k+ I don't really fancy doing this.

Here is how I did it.
Assigned myself owner rights over the public folder in question (internet newsgroups) - then in outlook from a client workstation deleted the folder itself. This takes some time. Just before it finished deleting the sub-folders, I canceled the delete, and delted the remaining few by hand. - I wasn't sure what the impact of actually deleting the folder itself would be.
