I just installed SQL server 2000 yesterday. Now how do I go about making my first database? I am assuming I cannot use a program like Access to design my database, right?

Also, are there any beginner tutorials out there that may help? Thanks so much.

John

You could design the databse in Access. However, the SQL Server Client Tools - Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer - are better suited to the task. For help in creating databases, start with the "Creating and Maintaining Databases" in SQL Server Books Online, the electronic documentation that ships with SQL Server. Terry
