Hello buddies, I am very newbie for java. Though I am a programmer (PowerBuilder) I don't even know how the progammes in Java are written and compiled. I want to study the Java. So where should I start from what basic things I need to prepare or learn. Also I want to know what r the different flavours/versions java has? What r Java Beans, Applets? What is J2EE, J2ME, EJB and so on?
