I'm new with Windows 2000 server and am trying to learn as much as I can. While serching through the Event Viewer I noticed this error that seems to re-occur every half hour:

DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. " attempting to start the service IISADMIN with arguments "" in order to run the server:
{A9E69610-B80D-11D0-B9B9-00A0C922E750}

I'm thinking that the administrator before me set something up but I can't find anything. I've tried to figure out what DCOM and IISADMIN do but any information I come across assumes that you already know everything (which couldn't be further from the truth).

Any help to eliminate this error would be greatly appreciated.
