I've got a W2k3 Server (A) which is the domain controller (name of domain is "XXX" for instance).
I've got another W2k3 Server (B) (no roles yet) which is on the network as a member of a workgroup.

When browsing the network in Windows Explorer from Server B, I can see all the domains and when clicking on the XXX domain, I can see the various computers that belong to the domain.

Now, if I make Server B join the XXX domain, when I browse the network I can only see the XXX domain. All the other domains are no longer visible.

When I select the XXX domain, I get an error message saying: "XXX is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network resource...".

However, if I search for the domain controller by the machine name, I can find it, see its files, and even map a network drive to it!

This behavoir is the same no matter if I log in to B as the local admin or as the domain admin.

What would be causing the inability to browse to the domain that I'm a member of???

On server B, are you logged in as admin? Sounds like a rites issue.
