new user with wrong mail template

I just created a new notes user , but unfortunately I created his mail database with the wrong template (R6 standard instead of Domino Webaccess R6)
I tried to delete the database itself and create a new one with database --> new, but it does not show up in administration.
How can I rectify this. Can I just delete the added person, and register a new entry with the correct template?

Of course you can - if you haven't already given the ID to the user. If you have, you'll have to explain why you're replacing it, which is always a bother.

Next time you make a template mistake, before deleting just go to File/Database/Replace Design and choose the right template in the list (be sure to choose the template from the server).

That way, your db will be right again and you won't have to go through all this.

Thanks for your reply. Normally I work with relational databases, I'm just acting as backup for Notes.
It takes a lot of readjusting every time :)
