When a new user account is created in AD, the mailbox for that user is not created, not even after a few hours, or logging on as a user / sending mail to that address etc...
Environment is mixed mode, 2 5.5 & 2 2003 (SP2) servers.
New user account is created without errors and the user appears in the GAL as normal. However any mail sent to that users address is bounced back NDR.
Going back to user management, exchnage tasks are all ok, there is an option to move and delete mailbox, but when you attempt either it errors out as the mailbox has not been created in the first place.
Moving mailboxes backwards and forwards creates the maiboxes with no problems.
first 2003 is clustered (mailbox storage), 2nd handles rus and connections
Anyone had a similar problem before?!
TIA
[small]have you turned it off and on again?[/small]
