Hi All,

I am currently working on a control database for a new PDA report writing system.

The Database I am writing is the management side of the system which allows the management to create projects on sites and then allocate staff to visit the sites to audit them.

However after a site has been visited the record of that visit needs to be copied to the main contract along with the allocated staff record.

There are many site visits a day and it is likely that the managers may be out on site themselves so I was wondering if there is anyway to automate this record copying allowing the work schedule to continue unaided.

As I have stated above I am new to SQL and have very limited information at my fingertips so any help would be very welcome

Regards
Tony

Look into merge replication. See BOL for details.
