Hello,

Pleasse could someone help, im a little new to NT server administration (im only a student on work placement) but have been dumped with managing one with managing a network with 130 machines attached to it! Anyway the problem I have is that recently it was decided to change our ISP. We currently have a dual isdn service. Basically what happens is that our Allied Telesyn router is setup to dial out on demand, then somehow it goes through the network and users get a net connection. I have to setup the web browser with a proxy server that our current ISP have given us, that filters content.

I got the new connection setup by basically edit the config script on the router with the new isps isdn line number, login and password. This seemed to work fine and the router showed me it had established a connection, however I have no idea where to go from here...I am assuming that I need to fiddle with a load of settings in NT server, but im nto sure which ones and I dont know what to put as the proxy address in the clients web browsers.. If anyone can help with this I would greatly appreciate it. I do have some knoweledge of ips, dns gateways and the like but it is all rather confusing at the mo!

Please help

Regards,
