We recently just bought a 4006 cisco switch. We are planning to use it as our core switch to switch traffic to appropriate services. Since I m new to this model of Cisco switch and we just want it just to be a normal switch where all my servers and our access routers will be connected to. I dont want any fancy stuff to be configured
Unfortunately it doesnt come with a manual. Could have been with the vendors and we have been trying to get it, but to no avail.
We have installed a 48 port inline power 10/100 BaseTX Ethernet module.
I would be very much happy if somebody could send me a sample configuration that suits my wants as explained above for this 4006 model or a link where I could get information from.
