Sorry, I have been out of the PC world for a while at school. I have an IBM intellistation M Pro series, which means I have a:

pentium 4 3.2ghz, 3 gigs of ram (max 4)
dual 17" monitor
dual CD/DVD roms
XP Proffessional
Nividia Quadro FX 1400 video card
MaXTOR 6y080mo (80 gig) 7200 rpm hard drive
the system is 64 bit compadible

It is about 3 years old, and I am looking for some.. upgrades to it. Specifically I want to run my TV through it unto a Projector I will be recieving soon. I will also be upgrading to Vista Ultimate. I am trying to find out what all I need in order to do this upgrade.

I have two open slots, and one secondary slot opened. The projector I will be getting is Epson PowerLite 77c 2200 Lumen Multimedia Projector because it will be running through my PC.

Hmmm video signal in, video signal out or ViVo for short.
Basically some means of getting that signal in and out the PC (some graphics cards have ViVo capability)
There is probably room for bigger storage, especially if you are tempted to record the TV in some way. If you add storage then maybe use the newer and presumably faster drive as the boot drive when you install Vista.
Just make sure that all your hardware is Vista compatible and that Vista drivers are available for everything.
