I am installing 2 new PRI's on an option 81c to a COMMPARTNERS Telica switch - I have them configured the same as my EMBARQ (SPRINT) set-up with a D-channel and a back-up D and the RDB and trunks are set-up as DID. the loops come up and the D's establish but when I try to make a call I get an error code PRI222 which says the B-channel does not exist.

interface type is wronge..

it interfaces to a dms100, but that does not usually mean that your nortel will see it as a dms.. if the interface type is right and the msdl's have been downloaded then i would look at a hardware problem

John, if he's going switch to switch like that, shouldn't the type be TIE?

when I tried to change IFC on RDB to ISGF I got error sch 6670 so I guess I dont have that pkg. ?

you can't change it, you have to out the complete job, trunks route dch and put them back in.. the packages are in the box by default past rls 3.0

I am not sure I described the set-up correctly - I am not going switch to switch this is providing my in and out dialing just like a telco

i would still think qsig, COMMPARTNERS Telica has been is service for 2 may 3 years that i have known about.. they have switchman that should know the interface type you need.. great way to save money and they do keep there equipment up 75 maybe 80 percent of the time.. as long as you don't mind a reboot now and then.
