New Network Drive

I was wondering how to set up a network drive we have two set up but i have never personality done it.

general u put the drive online, set propper rights in the (supposedly nas) web interface and done

Well, on the server we have 1 30 gig hard drive which is divided into three segment the q drive, Which is public, the z drive which is a priavet password drive and then i wanted to make another one. So i wasn't sure if i need to re-formate the drive, put another harddrive into the server, and then if so how to i set it up to share?

What other info do you need?

( i am new at all of this stuff)

Thanks, I found this helpful, I guest my next question is does sharing work the same way in a server setting, How does it import into the active user and groups?
