Well I do reccomend using an anti static bracelet. Also id make sure your power supply is at least 450 watts or bigger. Also when installing be really sure to make sure the board does not ground out to the case. Also depending on what board you have you might be required the extra 4 pin connector as well. Be sure it is connected if it has a place for one. Thats about all I can think of at the moment of real importance although I might be forgetting something.

Well it is the same board I was using so yea i'll just wear the bracelet and make sure not to ground it out. My PSU is 480W and already has the 4pin connector, Thanks I just wanted a quick rundown, just so I didnt miss anything. Thanks again!

Like for like is literally a straight swap taking the usual antistatic precautions, in addition you will propably need to set the bios to match your CPU and memory requirements front side bus etc.
If this board has front side bus jumpers then just set the same as the old.
When refitting the CPU heatsink/fan unit, completely clean off old thermal pad/grease and re-apply fresh.

So setting the bios is just booting up and going into the bios...how am I supposed to set it to match my CPU and memory? Yea I bought a new heatsink earlier this week and it has new thermal grease...but other than that I dont have to install any software or anything right? Thanks again!
Well to know what settings you need I would need to have more hardware information but typically motherboards will either have front side bus jumpers, this shouldn't be a problem because you can just physically copy the jumper settings already set on you old motherboard.
If your system boots and shows the wrong CPU speed (usually lower) you know that the front side bus and memory settings are wrong in the bios.
Post more info (full hardware specs) and we can advise.
