new mailbox default to old nonexistance 5.5 server

We have new Exchange 2000 Server joined Exchange 5.5 in same site and we done moving mailbox and all public folders. Then we deleted Exchange 5.5 server. Now everytime we create new mailbox, it come up with old exchange 5.5 server as default server so i have to select the new mailbox stored in to Exchange 2k server. How do i remove old exchange 5.5 server from the list of home server when creating new mailbox?
