new mail maximized 2

When I click on new mail in outlook express, my new mail is minimized. Is there any way that when I click the new mail icon it would be maximized? Thus saving me an extra step.

Is it really minimized to the taskbar, or is it just small?

Either way, try restoring the window (not maximized) and drag the window borders to the edges of your screen. Then while holding the CTRL key, click the X to close.

Create a new message and see what happens.
