Exchange 2000/Outlook 2000

Upgraded user machine to XP, all okay except new mail only shows in 'Inbox' if you click on other function (calender) and then click back to 'Inbox' (send/received button makes no difference). Off-line mail is disabled and all exchange settings are as normal. Have tried same user mail box on other PC (works fine). Office repair/reinstall makes no difference. Network connections appear correct. problem is with local machine!

Help with this one would be appreciated

In Outlook, go to VIEW and CURRENT VIEW. Make sure the checkmark is next to MESSAGES, otherwise you have some customized filter in place which will alter the way the messages are or are not displayed.
