Hi,
I have a website that is accessable from the outside and now we can also access it from the inside. I want to point the inside workstations to the inside ip instead of the outside. Let's say it is I created a new zone called yahoo.com on the inside dns and added a a record to it for it is not working. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Forrest

What happens when you ping the new url? Does the IP ping if yes then check you have the correct host header on the site. If no then try flushin the DNS cache incase its still reporting the old IP and make sure you have pointed it to the correct internal IP address.

Thanks, you got me to thinking and I remembered we have a new DNS server that I did not create the new zone on and of course I was pointed to that DNS server. Works fine now.
