New installation windows 2003 server

I am creating a new 2003 server domain on a server.
AFter running dcpromo on that server which will be the DC of a new forest.

What configurations have to be configured on the DC itself besides installing DNS.. ?

You need to give more info than that. What will the server be doing? File and Print Sharing? Only a DC? IIS, DHCP?
