New Exchange 07 in existing 03 environment..

Hello
I'm migrating my users from Exchange 03 to 07. In building the 07 box, is it possible to keep the same name? Meaning, if I currently have mail.domain.com for my 03 machine, once I migrate everyone over to the 07 machine, how will users log into webmail via the old name?

You will either need to update the A record in dns to point to the new CAS server or change the IP of the new Exchange 07 box to whatever the 03 box is at now.

Thanks..so it won't make a difference what I name the machine? I know the same name cannot be on the network.

You can name the machine whatever you want. Correct.
