I have installed a second disk in a server as the original one is full. I now need to be able to use that disk and the data that is to be put on it will form part of the current web site. The trouble is I havent a clue how to get the disk up and running and to act as is needed. I realise it needs to be mounted but dont know the commands - any help would be hugely appreciated.

Before using the disk, if I remember correctly, you will have to run FDISK and disklabel on the drive to prepare it for use. I do not know how to run these from the command line, as I have always run them from sysinstall.

sysinstall should allow you to select the new drive.
