New desktop parts list, need some assembly hints

Need some “assembly” advice/suggestions/recommendations.

Enroute to my place are the following components:
1. ASUS P5AD2 Deluxe MOBO
2. BX80547PG3600E boxed
3. THERMALTAKE CL-P0037
4. Corsair XMS2-5400 Xtreme Performance DDR2 1GB Kit
5. Plextor PX-712SA/SW-BL retail
6. Lite-on SOHD-167T (SJ-HD1665) Black
7. Mitsumi FA404M 7-in-1 USB2.0 Internal Flash Memory Card Reader and Writer
8. Logisys Black Scorpio Mid-Tower Case 420W
9. ASUS ATI Radeon X600 CT PCIE
10. Creative LabsS Sound Blaster AUDIGY 2 ZS Gamer Limited Edition
11. US Robotics 56K V.92 PCI Fax Modem, Model 5699B
12. 74Gb Raptor
13. WIN/XP Pro
14. I have another hard drives (non-SATA) to install

Does anyone have any thoughts on assembling and avoiding problems?

First thing is to mount the CPU and CPU cooling fan into the motherboard (much easier with no board flex - especially the fan), be careful with the fan clips, put a small piece of cardboard or tape where the screwdriver might hit if it slips out of the "groove". Install memory. Set the mobo on the box it came in. Plug in the power supply (remove from case - four screws), keyboard and video board. Short the "power" connection pins (momentarily), and see if it boots up. If all OK, unplug the power supply, keyboard and vid card. Look at the bottom of the mobo and spot the screw holes with a solder pad around them. Put stand-offs in the case ONLY at these matching points. You've just eliminated 90% of problems when building a new system. Go ahead and put it together - have fun and let us know how it comes out!

Also: look at the mauual at the page on onboard USB ports. Sometimes, when you hook up a "reader", it conflicts with one of the onboard USB ports.
