I need some advice on a new configuration I have in mind. I am going to move a Definity G3csi V10 with Definity Audix R4.0 to a new location. In the new location, only 2 users will need a DID. There will be 8 other users who will only need a phone to make calls and receive calls. I will be ordering only business lines for this configuration, as this is all that is needed. What would be the best way to configure this, to accomodate the 10 users? Should I configure a CO Trunk with Auto Attendant? Please advise.

That soulds like it would be the way to go. You can set up different CO TGs for the two folks DID, downside is its only one line. or you could have it roll to the other lines, but you wouldn't know it was orginally for the first person. Which puts you in the boat of needing two lines each for those two folks. One to take an active call, and the other to go directly to their VM. Then eventually they will want to answer calls on the second line.

seems like by the time you bought 4 or 5 co lines, you could probably get a fractional T-1 with a 20 block of DIDs?

We did the CO setup for approx 50 sites at my last company. We just told everyone there was no way in this config they could have DIDs, and just ran 4 CO lines into an AA and told them to live with it.
