I have two computers and DSL service. Now, how can i do the network thing without spending a lot of money in a router and without losing the speed of DSL.

Put two nic cards in one pc use it as a router connect the second pc to the first. You have to enable internet connection sharing. All this for the cost of one nic card. Only draw back you have to have both pc's switched on for the second pc to work.
