I'm going to try to help two friends set up a network tomorrow night. They're using a crossover cable and sharing a dialup connection. The Win XP machine will be the gateway. The Win 2K Pro. machine will be the client. The question is; do both machines connect to the internet using the modem in the XP machine? If so, do I need to disable the modem in the Win 2K machine? Thanks.
