I have a very simple network (PC-HUB-PC)
I do not seems to be able to have the two machine communicate correctly.
From tyhe PC1:
I can see the other PC Name, I can access the printer on PC2 and print.
But I cannot see any folders or other on the PC2. Any try will tell me that I do not have aauthorization.

From PC2:
I can print to the printer attached top PC11.
I cannot see the PC1, and I cannot see any of the folders.

The 2 PC are on the same WORKGROUP.
Neither PC has a password to get to it.

If anybody has a clue, I will appreciate because I ran out of ideas.

First, enable passwords. While blank or empty passwords can be worked around, it is best to enable and use them. You can set both machines to autologon if you need the convenience:

Start, Run, control userpasswords2
Uncheck the box at the top 'Users must enter a username and password to access this computer.'
Click Apply.
Indicate the autologon user, and the passwword you have given that username.

Second, make a new user on computer1 the same username and password as used on computer2. Make a new user on computer2 the same username and password as used on computer1.

Third, enable Netbios on both machines. Do not use the default settings, use the middle of three radio buttons:
Fourth, make certain that you have enabled a Firewall exception for Windows File and Printer sharing on both computers.

Reboot both computers and test again.
