We are experiencing problems on a 2mb link we have between 2 offices in Europe. When a user in one office (Ireland) connects to the Citrix XP 1.0 Farm in the other office (Italy) it's causing 1.4Mbits of traffic per second which is putting quite a load on the link. The user is only logging into a published desktop and launching Microsoft Outlook.
We have a number of users in the Italy office who access the Citrix XP 1.0 Farm in Ireland and we don't experience any issues with the link whatsoever. We are at a loss to explain why it's happening only one way though it would suggest some sort of problem with the Farm configuration in Italy.
Has anyone come across anything that would put such a load on the link when logged into a published desktop? The user doesn't use any client mapped drives or anything and the outlook they access is connecting to a local Exchange server.
Thanks in advance.
