quite a large network, using a 5 digit numbering plan.

On the Master node get the following error

PRI244 DCH: 26 Data: 1 7197 1 29997 1
PRI242 DCH: 26 Data: 8

29997 is the master time DN
7197 should read 27197 as thats the slave DN on the site that won't sinc.

So it's obvious that the D channel is stripping the first digit from this remote site.

But where is it doing this ? I have another 29 sites that all sinc fine.

Normal dialing works fine.

Thanks in advance
Wideboy

OK NCDP was set to 4 on this site...so that looked like that problem solved.

Most other sites have NCDP set to 7..all seem to work.

BUT 1 site still isn't..get the same error message as above, but with the full 5 number DN in the error code

Check your CDP to make sure the DN can be dialed from your broken site. Even though the number is not an actual set, the CDP still needs to know how to get there.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

CDP fine, Time DN is smack in the middle of the DDi range

Are you doing anything on the far end to manipulate digits?

If Site X had NCDP set to 4, and everyone is doing 5 digit dialing, how were calls being processed correctly to Site X?

You may have done this already, but I would check the Master site, and all links in between, to see if there is any digit manipulation going on in either direction. Totally a shot in the dark, but I cannot see why this site would not work, since you obviously have this working at all the other sites. I have 82 Option 11's all syncing up with an 81C without issue, using 4 digits.

Not sure what else to check. You could turn on messaging on the D-Channel (26) to see if you get more info.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.
