Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I have a SecureRemote user who cannot access network shares. He is able to access the VPN, and use terminal serivces, web services, etc. But no file shares. The odd thing is he CAN access file shares from his 2nd laptop. But not from the main one.

The laptop is running XP SP2. I've tried disabling the XP firewall. But that didn't help.

Any other ideas?

In the Desktop/Security policies are there any differences between the 2 laptops? If they both belong to the same groups/rules then, check the tracker for netbios being dropped from the one you're having issues with.

Sounds more like a hosts file problem. Can he map a drive by IP address or is he simply unable to map a drive at all.
