Network Scanning

Hi All

Just new to the VB.Net stuff, so ave been asking some questions lately, thanks for yer replys its been great help.. So onto my question..

I would like to create a small application that i can type a start IP / End IP and subnetmask. I would like the app to scan the network for all devices that are active and return the IP Address / Mac Address / Name / Currently logged on user, i know some of the information wont be available depending on what the device is, but i want as much info as possible..

Any help is appreciated.
