Network Problem 1

I just migrated a Novell 3.12 network to W2K. It worked fine for a few days. I have a 16 port hub. The problem I am facing is that every once in a while, the network disconnects for a few seconds. The icon in the task bar shows cable unplugged, and the connects back. This is causing a lot of data corruption.

Any idea why this is happening? Has anybody else faced this kind of a problem?

Try setting the config of your card to a fixed speed and duplex setting instead of auto which is probably the default.
