Network Printers

Hey there...

Kind of new here.. We have a windows 2000 enviroment, and lately we have noticed that some of the users lose connection to our Network printers. Hardware is fine, and when you ping the server ( Where the printers are located) we get a response.. It is sporadic and is happening more often now. we usuallu have to re-start the user...
Any ideas?

How are the printers connected to the server? Print Server appliance over network? If so, is it a wireless connection?

It is not wireless..so it would be print server appliance over the Network.
