Network Places - comments in name column

When I use XP Pro machines to view a list of PCs on a domain in Network Places detail view there are 2 columns: "Name" and "Comments". The list of computers have the info from the Comments column appended in front of the actual computer name in the Name column, followed by the computer name in parenthesis. This makes it very difficult to select a PC by it's name. On WinNT4 & Win2K PCs this was not the case. The only thing in the Name column in those OS versions was the actual PC name, the comment info (which is actually the Description: that is entered in the Server applet in the WinNT4 control panel) was confined to the Comment column. I use the Comments (Description) field extensively to help me with machine identification over the network and would hate to have to give it up. Looks like another Microsoft user interface "improvement" [evil]

Any idea how to force this to appear the way it did in NT & 2K?
