Hi,
Our organisation is running a Windows XP desktop environment with Windows 2000 server/s. Users began reporting slow network connections today and upon more investigation I discovered screens flickering.
All the machines in different subnets flicker at 15 second intervals, (approx.) and it seems they do this simultaneously.
My thoughts are that a pop-up, adware, virus, or one of our apps is glitching.
The one stange point is that the Domain controllers and other servers are not affected.
One final point is that if the start menu is left open, when the flicker occurs the start menu closes.
I am hoping someone has heard of a similar problem or can give me a suggestion, so we can narrow down our troubleshooting efforts.
Any help is thanked.
Tim.
