I have an MCSE, MCSA and A+. I am currently looking for work as a network admin. I have the oppertunity to write either a network + or linix+ exam and wondered which one might be more impressive or help get a job. I have the knowledge to write both exams but not the money.

Thanks

I would definitely go Linux+. The Network+ is a basic exam, from what I've heard, and mostly over Windows networking. If you already have an MCSE, there is no need for Network+. And Linux will give you more training on another rapidly growing OS....

Thanks,

I hold several certs from comptia, cisco, novell, and a fiber optic installer cert as well. The Linux+ is a cert which will test your knowledge in the area of basic linux issues (the last 10 questions were on general computer issues), but the exam itself is entry level. The harder exams are the LPI series and the RHCA/CE exams (on the RHCE, you have a laboratory environment where you have to install, upgrade, compile, etc to pass the actual exam).
