Hi,

can somebody explain me how to view all users (with IP addresses) connected to our domain server. We have NT server as a DC&DHCP server and Windows 2000 server as domino/file/print server.

Is it also possible in Windows environment to se which ip address is behind certain mac address?

I would like to monitor our network, but we dont have any software for this. We connect to our corporate network and internet through router which I dont have access to. So what is the best way to monitor what is happening on our inside network.

Thanks!

Start > Run > Cmd > OK

Enter netstat /help

Use the appropriate extensions, to get the result.

Does anyone know how to get active DHCP issued IP addresses from DHCP server?

Go to Start>Programs>Administrative Tools>DHCP>Open the Scope and click on Address Leases.
This is assuming your talking about Windows 2000 Server

Thanks for yor replies. Netstat can be helpful to some point.

We have DHCP running on the NT Server. With DHCP manager in Win NT, I can see the IP adressess and MAC addressess.

What tools could I use to monitor network. For example to see who is downloading stuff form internet, etc...
