Hello all:

Out data center is forcing us to move to a new IP block, and we host our own DNS Servers, 2 Web Servers and 1 SQL Server. I am unsure how to lower the TTL on the DNS servers so the other Windows 2000 servers will resolve the new DNS. FYI: the two DNS servers are Windows 2000 Advanced Server. Any ideas would be great. Thank you,

Brett

To lower the TTL:

Open DNS admin.

Open the domain you need to edit, so that you can see all the records.

Get properties on the SOA record for your domain and change the expiration/TTL fields.
