i cant seem to be able to connect to our domain...it always shows an error message "The server is not configured for transactions." i have search in google and microsoft how to resolve this probelm...it only says that i just have to share the IPC$ but its a special share. how can i share this? could someone help me with this one.

normally it is shared automatically.....
just looked at my own PC, IPC$ exists but doesn't reference a path.
It is for temp connections via named pipes
how long have you had this problem? check your logs to before it happened if you can, see if anything indicates why is is no longer sharing...

this problem just happened two days ago and im still trying to resolve it. the first time i configure the server using "dcpromo.exe", those special shares are already shared when i looked it in the computer management but after a week....they are not shared anymore and the WINS server is down and cant seem to connect because of the error "network path not found". i think it has something to do with WINS service coz i can seem to access the domain anymore and other computers within the domain. could someone help me on this? i dont wana reconfigured my server from scratch again. someone help me with this please....
