Hi everyone.
I am aware NLB is only available on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

But is there any way of having NLB added to Windows 2000 Server?!?!

Your help will be much appreciated (and it is urgent too....i got tight deadline to meet)

Cheers

J.

I'm not dead certain but I think NLBS is a download add-on for Win2K Server.

How's your Unix? You can put a cheap & cheerful load-balancer together on Linux with the 'Balance' application. Probably cost about half nothing!

How do you mean? Is there useful web link that I could go to and read more about?

Cheers

J.

Sorry I didn't see your comment about the Unix etc.....Nah it would have to be for Windows 2000 Server. It's looking pretty glim at the moment....I don't really want 2 have to upgrade to Windows 2000 Advanced Server....

Thanks for your help though...

How about using Round Robin DNS? It depends on what you are trying to LB but that is cheap and cheerful.
