Can anyone tell how to fix this problem.
I have w3k standard server setup and running dhcp. I have a few desktops that continually lose their network connections about every 4 hours after no activity on the desktops. Two of the desktops are XP pro and the other desktop is windows 98. I performed this step from a previous post on a few machines and it worked on some of them, "Take a look at the properties of your NICs. I'll bet that if you look under the Power Saving feature you will find that it is set ot allow XP to turn off the device. Uncheck that box and your computers should stay online." Like I mentioned above 2 Xp pro's are still doing it and 1 of the 98 machines are too. These Desktops reconnect everytime I restart or log off and log back on, but my client finds it to be a pain in the butt. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be helful.
Thanks
