This is going to be a long post.

Currently we use a 192.168.2 - 192.168.14 network scheme using the even numbers. My main location houses all of our servers (20) and a group of about 75 users. I have gone to a meshed design with my network and moved the hub of the spoke to our ISP. I have a backup site with duplicates of all servers. My plan would be to move my servers to their own subnet, so that if anything ever happend to my main location my ISP would swing a route to my backup site and I would be up and running within minutes rather then hours. I have a Cisco 3640 at my main location with several spare serial interfaces and a spare
ethernet interface (eth0/1). At my backup site I have a Cisco 2600. My 2600 would need a second interface as it already handles the subnet for that location.

Can I do this with my secondary ethernet port on my 3600 and a new switch to connect to? Am I missing any hardware. I apologize I am learning and I am now to the point that I know enough to be very dangerous on both our cisco routers aand Pix firewall. If you need more clairifcation let me know. If I have posted in the wrong forum I apologize.

And last: Thanks in advance!

Cheers
Rook
