Please help,
I have the following message appearing on my database, then none of the buttons or anything VB related works.

The expression On Click you entered as the event property setting produced the following error. Error accessing file. Network connection may have been lost.

*The expresion may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a user defined function, or [Event Procedure].
*There may have been an error evaluating the function, event, or macro.

Then a VB window appears with no code which should be there.

This is a copied database from the live one and it is not split.

Hi,
could it be you deleted a parameter from a sub or a function ?
Or declared a variable or const outside a sub or function ?

If this only happens in one module, try checking for these things and perhaps comment some subs and try again.

Greetings,
Jens

That happens when you copy an object that has code and you close the database before doing a re-compile.

It's a real pain in the A** and has stung me more than once. Tyrone Lumley
