Hi folks,

I have 10 global ips, but I use only 4 of them. They are connected to a switch which is connected to the router- (framerelay recently). Now if ever i enable another global Ip and connect that to the same switch which is connected to the router, my network is getting choked up and everything is getting congested.I am not able to telnet the router also.At the ISP end it is showing the network is congestd and hence No internet. What could be the problem for this congestion.

thanks in advance

Many reasons, first thing to check is the loading on the serial interface to your ISP, `SH INT Sn',look for the TX and RX load figures, and the 5min average load. Also look at SH FRAME-RELAY PVC, look for FECN and BECN, how many compared to the number of packets?

Once you have these figures post em up, can verify its a loading issue or a line fault.
