Network Card Compatability 1

I`m looking for a selection of network cards (including makes and models) which will give me full functionality of Sniffer Pro 4.7. Tried and tested suggestions prefered please.

If you have the latest version of SN Pro (4.7.5)
The following 'Sniffer' Xircom adapters are supported:
- Xircom CardBus Ethernet II 10/100 (CBE2)
- Xircom Realport CardBus Ethernet Adapter
- Xircom Realport2 CardBus Ethernet Adapter
- IBM 10/100 EtherJet CardBus Adapter (not on XP)
- IBM Etherjet CardBus Ethernet Adapter

For all these cards are NAI's Sniffer drivers available..

I`m after specifically a PCI network card and a model number if possible. Any ideas ? Many thanks.

I don't think there is a desktop PCI NIC driver for Sniffer 4.7 under Windows 2000. Only the Xircom and Madge PCMCIA cards and the ATML2 card. I am not running 4.7 so I do not know for sure. I am using 4.5 and looking at the C:\Program Files\NAI\Driver\ folder. Sr. Network Engineer

I strongly recommend purchasing the cards through official routes, more for support reasons than anything else.

Back again ..

I`ve now got an INTEL PRO/100 NETWORK ADAPTOR - PILA8470BC3 the card picks up the traffic but no errors. Does anyone know if there any drivers I need to download to get Sniffer working ?

UKMAN - there are no drivers for the Intel cards, hence why you want see any errors.
