I am accustomed to setting the NIC speed on my win2k server to 100/Full or 1000/Full when connecting to Cisco switches (and of course setting the switchport to 100/Full or 1000/Full). Someone mentioned to me that this is not necessary/recommended on Win2k3 servers. Any one have any experience with this?
