I installed the netware client for DOS and have the drive mapping and username setup in the appropriate config files. However, for some reason, the netware client tries to take that username and authenticate it to the wrong server (context). Is there a way so that Netware knows which context this username belongs to?

You can put these in the NET.CFG file in the Netware DOS requester section.
NAME CONTEXT = "<namecontext>"
PREFERRED SERVER = <server name>
There may be other things too that might help. look up TID 2933376
