I am trying to lock Netware accounts down to a workstations MAC address using 'Address Restriction' in Console One.

If you select 'Net/Address Type', you get three NetAddress fields to complete.

I have completed this is various combinations, but when I attempt to logon to that workstation, I receive a pop-up saying that I am not on the correct workstation. Although I am, it appears that the physical (MAC) address of my workstations in the format 00-08-xx-xx-xx-xx that I enter into a users account, isn't being activated.

In other words, the physical address restriction that I put on an account, although is correct - is not letting me in.

Has anyone used address restrictions in Console One ? Any TID's that you recommend that can solve this problem ?

Many thanks

Hey are you still having this problem?

I would recommend doing it in NWADMIN32. Also, you need to include the segment number in the NETWORK field. This will be the same as what you see when you type CONFIG on the server and get the segment number.
